The Sandman opened its doors in 1948, when Kevin White, having just spent 4 year serving in WW2, hand made the first ever Sandman mattress.
From here, with help from his two sons Gerard and Michael White, the company grew. Although originally based in Melbourne, the factory is now situated in Geelong, Victoria.
